Sometimes it’s better to connect the dots yourself.
Let’s face it. We all learned a bit of DIY during the pandemic and here’s what we realized. It’s not all that hard once we get into it and we sure can save a lot of hard-earned money.
When you’re ready to remodel your kitchen, there’s a huge premium you’re paying for when the cabinet making company connects all the dots for you. They provide you with the hinges, the handles, the installation, the doors and the cabinet boxes. Now that you’ve rolled up your sleeves more than a couple times, you know you can save by sourcing some of these components yourself. It’s a tiny bit of legwork that ends up putting a lot more money back in your pocket.
Don’t get me wrong. I usually like it when a company connects the dots for me, but not when it comes at a premium of thousands of dollars. Plus, I love the thrill of the hunt. Finding the perfect handles, for the perfect doors and the perfect backsplash and countertop. I don’t want to be limited to someone else’s imagination. The sky’s the limit.
It’s easier than you think to get the semi-custom kitchen of your dream.
